About the position
We are looking for a Bioprocess Engineer with expertise in downstream processing of small molecules and proteins.
In this role, you will collaborate closely with the upstream processing team to ensure effective process development.
Key responsibilities
- Design and develop downstream processing for small molecules and proteins.
- Develop and execute scale-up strategies for laboratory processes to pilot and production scale.
- Deep understanding of downstream process development and product formulation.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical challenges during process development and production.
- Ensure compliance with quality standards and regulatory requirements.
- Document and analyze process data to provide actionable insights.
- Support the installation and commissioning of new equipment in the pilot lab and production facilities.
Qualifications
You should bring
- Top-notch communication and problem-solving skills.
- Pragmatism.
- Proven experience and a successful track record in downstream process development and scale-up (industrial experience preferred).
- Strong understanding of downstream processing techniques for small molecules and proteins, including purification systems and filtration technologies.
- Familiarity with regulatory requirements for biomanufacturing.
